The sensual, cinematic pop-noir of Myrrh Larsen finds its genesis in live performance. Smoky atmospherics flecked with post-punk grit; their music is full of intricate nuance yet is immediately engaging. Emotive, dramatic vocals soar over percussive syncopated grooves and clawing guitars, delivering an electric, contagious whole.

Myrrh Larsen has developed a cult following in the Pacific Northwest for their shows combining live rock music with visual performers (circus aerialists, dancers, and movement actors) to create “live concept albums” of original, story-driven songs. Listen and learn more at myrrhmusic.com.

“Undeniably powerful.”

“…a dramatic and poignant piece that would work well in a soundtrack (we’d see it well in Fox’s ‘Gotham’, for instance)”
